EDC Announces Scholarships |

The Eliot Democratic Committee is happy to announce the creation
of two college scholarships to be awarded annually to Eliot seniors at Marshwood High School. The
value of each scholarship will be at least $500.00. The recepients of these scholarships will
be determined by the EDC in cooperation with the Marshwood High Guidance Department. The full

The Eliot Democratic Committee (EDC) is pleased to offer opportunities for
Marshwood High School students to obtain community service hours to be applied toward graduation requirements.
Projects are available throughout the year and will be assigned and adapted to match student interests whenever possible.

2010 State Democratic Convention |

The 2010 Maine State Democratic Convention was held on
May 21st and 22nd at the Colisee in Lewiston. The convention was an excellent opportunity to meet with
State Senate and House legislators, as well as many other local elected officials.
The convention is a celebration of our Party and a chance for candidates to address the delegates.
All Democratic candidates for Governor were in attendance, along with Representatives Michaud and Pingree.
